Consumer Description
WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH FRONT WHEELS LOCKED UP AND THE VEHICLE LOST BRAKE POWER. EMERGENCY BRAKE HAD TO BE ENGAGED TO ASSIST IN STOPPING THE VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP INDICATED THAT THIS OCCURRED BECAUSE THE STEERING WIRING CABLE WAS GROUNDED TO A LOCATION WHERE IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN. THIS RESULTED IN THE WIRING BEING EXPOSED AND RUBBED, CAUSING AN ELECTRICAL SHORT. TO CORRECT THE FAILURE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE WIRING HARNESS.*AK
