Consumer Description

INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET FAILURE ON MY 3.4L V6. IT WAS POINTED OUT TO ME BY THE SERVICE MANAGER, WHO HAPPENED TO KNOW RIGHT WHERE TO LOOK. BEING ON A TIGHT BUDGET, I COULDN'T AFFORD THE $800+ DOLLARS I WAS QUOTED. NOW I CARRY A GALLON OF DEX-COOL TO TOP OFF THE SYSTEM AND PRAY THE COOLING SYSTEM DOESN'T GIVE OUT BECAUSE OF THE DEX-COOL PROBLEM WITH THESE ENGINES. MY CAR WAS JUST OUT OF WARRANTY AND THEY WOULD NOT COVER IT OR EVEN OFFER A 50/50 DEAL. GM SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.
