Consumer Description

I PURCHASED A 2000 CHEVROLET S10 IN JANUARY 2001. THE FUEL PUMP WENT OUT IN FEBRUARY 2001. THE DEALER REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP AND ALERTED ME THAT THERE WERE A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THE FUEL PUMPS ON THESE VEHICLES. MY TRUCK WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY WITH ONLY 18,000 MILES ON IT. I CURRENTLY HAVE 101,000 MILES ON IT AND AFTER THE FUEL PUMP REPLACEMENT I HAVE NOT HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH THE FUEL PUMP. THERE IS A REAL PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL PUMPS IN THESE VEHICLES. *AK
