MY GRANDPARENTS OWN A DODGE VAN. MY GRANDFATHER WAS REAR-ENDED AT LESS THAN 15 MPH. THE FRONT DRIVER SEAT BROKE AND FELL INTO A RECLINING POSITION. IT HAS TO BE REPLACED. MY CONCERN IS MAINLY FOR THE SAFETY OF ANYONE SITTING ON THE BENCH SEAT DIRECTLY BEHIND THE DRIVERS SEATS. *NLM
