Recall 06V024000 — SUSPENSION

Defect: ON CERTAIN TRAILERS, THE AIR RIDE SUSPENSION HANGER WELD MAY FAIL AT THE ATTACHMENT POINT BETWEEN THE HANGER AND THE SUBFRAME.
Consequence: THE SUSPENSION AND AXLES CAN DETACH FROM THE TRAILER FRAME AND CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY TO PERSONS OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE AND COULD CAUSE A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE SUSPENSION HANGER AREA , REPAIR AS NECESSARY, AND INSTALL A SUPPORT GUSSET TO STRENGTHEN THE WELD FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL IS BEGAN ON JANUARY 31, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT WILSON TRAILER AT 1-800-798-2002.
