The seat pedestal base anchor brackets to the chassis fame may not have enough strength to prevent the seat and seat...
Consequence: In the event of a crash, the second-row captain seats may not provide adequate protection for occupants, increasing their risk of injury.

Defect: Erwin Hymer Group North America, Inc. (Erwin Hymer) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Roadtrek RS Adventurous XL, E-trek XL, RS Adventurous, and E-trek motorhomes equipped with a driver's side second row captain seat option. The diesel fuel tank may have been damaged while installing the second row seat pedestal.
Consequence: A damaged fuel tank may leak fuel, increasing the risk of a fire.

I RECEIVED A SAFETY INFORMATION NOTICE (NHTSA 19V450 / TRANSPORT CANADA 2019-309) STATING THE TWO REAR SEAT SEATBELTS ARE NOT PROPERLY FUNCTIONAL. THE RESOLUTION IS TO HAVE THE DEALER ADHERE A STICKER TO THE SEATBELT SAYING THE SEATS SHOULD NOT BE USED WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. MY SIMPLE QUESTION IS HOW CAN A SAFETY NOTICE AND RECALL SOLUTION BE THE MAKE HALF OF THE SEATING IN THE VEHICLE NON-FUNCTIONAL - AS OPPOSED TO FIXING THE SEATBELT ISSUE.
