Recall 16V133000 — FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL

| 1,348 vehicles affected

Defect: Prevost Cars, Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain model year 2012-2016 H3-41 and H3-45, 2011-2016 H3-VIP, 2011-2016 X3-45 Coach vehicles, 2012-2016 X3-VIP vehicles, and 2011-2013 XL2 Entertainer vehicles. The coolant line on the affected vehicles may be missing a positioning clip, allowing the coolant line to rub against the braided fuel hose at one of the injectors.

Consequence: Contact between the fuel line and the coolant line may cause a fuel leak and result in fuel spraying onto hot exhaust components increasing the risk of an engine compartment fire.

Remedy: Prevost will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel line for abrasion, replacing it as necessary. The fuel and coolant lines will be properly secured. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on April 20,...

On the vehicles affected by this bulletin, the air dryer assembly may present a leak at the pressure probe connection. The O-ring in this location may be deformed due to the fitting arrangement. Adding a metal ring will prevent this issue.

SP13-52 — ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:FAN

Risk of premature failure of top fan support due to absence of weld. In the engine compartment above radiator, inspect support to make sure support has two welds in the corners.

WB13-29 — ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

On the vehicles affected by this bulletin, a corrective measure is required due to bolts coming loose at the radiator fan clutch tripod attachment to the radiator. Addition of four (4) locknuts (jam nuts) will prevent bolts to loosen.

SP13-19A — STRUCTURE

Grille frame gluing verification on the DPF door (left side, over the radiator door). If part shows no sign of separation or ungluing, it is ok. If testing reveals poor bonding, remove grille, glue and double face tape.
