Defect: PJ Trailers is recalling certain 2024-2025 LD trailers. The air ride suspension brake axles may be installed incorrectly, resulting in reduced braking ability.
Consequence: Reduced braking ability can increase the distance required to stop and the risk of a crash.
Remedy: PJ Trailers will inspect and replace the axles as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 26, 2024. Owners may contact PJ Trailers customer service at 1-903-669-0228.

Defect: PJ Trailers is recalling certain 2024 B5, B6, B8, C8, CC, CE, D3, D5, D8, DD, DG, DL, DM, DR, DT, F8, FD, FY, L6, LD, LS, LX, LY, P8, PL, T1, T6, T7, T8, T9, TF, and TJ trailers. The sidewall of the tires may experience bubbling and separate, causing loss of tire pressure. As such, these trailers fail...
Consequence: A loss of tire pressure increases the risk of a crash.

Defect: PJ Trailers is recalling certain 2022-2024 LD, LY, LX, LS, CC, DD, TJ, and TS trailers equipped with a Demco EZ Latch Gooseneck Coupler. The coupler mounting bolts may loosen and cause the coupler to separate from the inner tube.
Consequence: A coupler that separates can allow the trailer to disconnect from the tow vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the couplers, free of charge. Owner notification letter were mailed June 15, 2023. Owners may contact PJ Trailers customer service at 1-866-752-8781.

Additionally, the contact stated while driving 63-64 MPH, a message indicating that the trailer connection was lost was displayed. The contact that he noticed smoke coming from underneath the trailer. The contact was able to pull to the side of the road and inspected the trailer. The contact noticed that the driver's side brakes assembly wiring had melted and the brake assembly had internally collapsed. The trailer was towed to the residence. The trailer was not repaired.
