The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Sentra. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V581000 (Structure) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact noticed a cracking sound. The vehicle was driven to the residence and parked. The contact noticed that the passenger's side front tie rod was fractured, and the tire appeared to bulge away from the tie rod. The vehicle was inspected by an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed it with a fractured tie rod. The vehicle was not repaired.
