TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 LEXUS LS460. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SURFACE OF THE DASHBOARD BEGAN TO DETERIORATE AND PRODUCED A STICKY SUBSTANCE. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE SUNLIGHT CREATED A GLARE ON THE DASHBOARD THAT IMPAIRED THE DRIVER'S VISION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY A CHEMICAL REACTION IN THE DASHBOARD AND THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
