The contact owns a 2022 KZRV Durango. The contact stated that one side of the awning fabric had detached, causing the awning to unintendedly drop. The contact stated that five people assisted in roping the awning back into place. The RV was taken to the dealer; however, the RV was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V552000 (Structure) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was unknown.
