The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated while his wife was driving 70 MPH, the transmission shifted into neutral, and the engine stopped. The contact's wife was able to coast off the highway while in neutral. Once on the side of the road, the vehicle shifted into park without warning. There was no warning light illuminated; however, a message to check electronic braking system was briefly displayed. The vehicle was restarted, and the contact’s wife drove the vehicle to the residence. The vehicle was then driven to the dealer, but the dealer could not duplicate the failure. The contact and his wife drove the vehicle several times and the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer and a diagnostic test was performed. The contact was informed that the ECM was inoperable. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken...
