HAVE HAD THE GASKETS AND SEALS REPLACED BY A VERY COMPETENT SERVICE FACILITY. LEAKS ARE STILL VERY SEVERE. *AK

THE ENGINE WAS BURNING A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF OIL, SO I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE LOCAL ISUZU DEALER TO BE INSPECTED. THE CHIEF MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A MATERIAL FAILURE IN THE PISTON RINGS CAUSING THE ENGINE TO BURN THE OIL. I CALLED ISUZU USA DIRECTLY AND ASKED FOR ASSISTANCE. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO, EVEN THOUGH ONE OF THEIR MECHANICS DIAGNOSED A "MATERIAL FAILURE" IN THE ENGINE COMPONENT. I HAVE SINCE SPOKEN WITH OTHER MECHANIC WHO HAVE STATED THAT THIS IS A "COMMON PROBLEM" WITH TROOPERS. ANY ASSISTANCE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

WHEN TRAVELING AND UPON DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE VEHICLE WILL NOT ACCELERATE. CONSUMER THEN LOST ALL POWER AND THE VEHICLE THEN CUT OFF. CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER, DEALER HAS REPLACED PARTS. *AK
