The engine exhaust downpipe melted and cracked- creating a large exhaust pipe hole near the engine exhaust manifold. Releasing exhaust gases and potential flames. This is a school bus and it happens frequently with this model.
This is a school bus. Exhaust down pipe from exhaust manifold melted down and created a large hole for fumes and potential fire from excessive heat/fuel issue in engine.
School Bus- Engine exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold has melted from excessive heat in the system creating large hole for fumes and potential fire to escape. Exhaust is inadequate for the heat levels from the engine or engine performance is misprogrammed to create excessive heat/fuel. Widespread issue with many school buses in our fleet with the same powertrain.
