Defect: Harley-Davidson Motor Company (Harley-Davidson) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Road King (FLHR), Street Glide (FLHX), Street Glide Special (FLHXS), Electra Glide Ultra Classic (FLHTCU), Ultra Limited (FLHTK), Police Road King (FLHP), Police Electra Glide (FLHTP), CVO Ultra Limited (FLHTKSE), 2014 CVO Road King (FLHRSE), and 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low (FLHTCUL), Ultra Limited Low (FLHTKL), Road Glide (FLTRX),...

Consequence: If a saddlebag is not adequately secured, it may separate from the motorcycle while riding, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Harley-Davidson will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected saddlebag mounting receptacles with updated receptacles, free of charge. The recall began on July 30, 2015. REAR BRAKES WENT COMPLETELY OUT WITH NO WARNING. HAD THE BRAKES LINES FLUSH AND NEW DOT 4 BRAKES FLUID PUT IN. AGAIN REAR BRAKES WENT OUT 2 MORE TIMES WITH NO WARNING AND FLUSH OUT. THERE ARE NO LEAKS ANY WHERE. THE RESERVOIR IS SHOWING FULL AT ALL TIMES I WILL BE RIDING AROUND TOWN AND INTERSTATE AND WHEN APPLIED PEDAL WILL GO ALWAY DOWN. I DO NOT RIDE WITH MY FOOT ON THE REAR PEDAL. THE PROBLEM START IT ON 3/17/18 AND HAVE DONE IT ON JAN 14 AND MARCH 17 2019

RIGHT REAR AIR SHOCK IS LEAKING OIL OUT THE BOTTOM. OIL LEAKS AND SPRAYS AGAINST THE WHEEL AND REAR BRAKE ROTOR. THE OIL THAT COMES IN CONTACT WITH THE REAR BRAKE ROTOR GREATLY REDUCES BRAKING EFFICIENCY, AND COULD POSSIBLY LEAD TO A CRASH. THE REPLACEMENT SHOCK IS ON BACKORDER DUE TO THIS BECOMING A VERY COMMON PROBLEM.
