The contact owned a 2022 Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pack RV. The contact stated that the battery of the RV was frequently drained by the refrigerator. The contact stated the generator of the RV was turned on, and while the Xbox of the contact's son, the refrigerator and other devices were plugged in, the contact noticed an abnormal burning odor. The contact exited the RV and noticed that the pizza box in front of the generator had caught on fire. The contact ran to the cargo residence that was 20 ft. away and informed her children that a fire had started. The contact stated that upon returning with a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire, the contact noticed that the fire had extended to the fiberglass in front of the RV, and the front of the RV had caught on fire. Forest River Gray Wolf 2022, this is the third time that I have seen the same model Waaree solar controller fail on this model RV and start over charging customers batteries. This vehicle came in with its lead acid batteries over charged to 20.9 volts, identical to last time. Not sure if its widespread, but it seems to be problematic enough that I can see one fail three times in under a year.
The contact owns a 2022 Forest River Cherokee travel trailer. The contact stated that the RV experienced an electrical system failure with the generator surging and was unable to hold a charge. The RV was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was a blockage in the electric line. The dealer performed a recall repair under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V243000 (Equipment) and repaired the RV. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. The consumer stated that the RV continues to have electrical issues and remains at the dealer.
