The electical system seems to have a bad connection. This can sometimes be triggered when releasing the parking brake. Most often the issue occurs when driving where all gauges go offline and numerous errors are thrown on the display. Most times you can reconcile the issue by wiggling the wiring harness under the stearing wheel located near the parking brake. This vehicle has not been inspected. I have talked to local repair shops and they have verbally quoted prices too high to trace it down. It does not seem to be temperature related. Unplugging the wiring harnesses and plugging them back in does seem to help for a short period of time. This has occurred over 30 times in the past 2 years. The truck has less than 40,000 miles on it. The truck will not start when it is having this issue but thankfully will continue to run if...
The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-250. The contact stated that the battery warning light had appeared on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where an inspection was performed; however, no defects were found with the vehicle. The contact then stated that while driving at 55 MPH, the instrument panel began to flash as several warning lights appeared on the instrument panel. The contact immediately turned around and headed home. The contact attempted to reverse(R) into the driveway; however, the transmission failed to operate as needed. The contact coasted the vehicle into the driveway and let the vehicle sit for two days. The contact then drove the vehicle to an independent mechanic where a defect with the wiring in the electrical system was found. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The contact was transferred unknowingly...
SYNC SYSTEM COMPLETELY INOPERABLE. LOSS OF HANDS FREE OPERATION AND NO GPS CREATING HAZARD.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD F-250. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO SHIFT THE PARKING BRAKE INTO GEAR THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL GRINDING AND SQUEALING NOISE DETECTED. SEVERAL WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000. *DT*JB
THE ABS SYSTEM AND THE ADVANCED AUTO TRAC MALFUNCTION AND CAUSES LOSS OF BREAKS. FORD CAN NOT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND SEEMS UNWORRIED ABOUT THE ISSUE. I HAVE QUESTIONED FORD ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND THE RESPONSE I GET IS IT COULD BE A NUMBER OF ISSUES. THEY WANT TO START CHANGING PARTS AT MY COST WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT IT IS OR NOT WANTING TO ADMIT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE TRUCK IS IN MOTION AND HAPPENS WITHOUT CAUSE. A BELL GOES OFF YOU LOSE POWER FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME AND LOSE BREAKS FOR PERIODS OF TIME WHILE BELLS ARE GOING OFF.
PURCHASED CAR WITH 8 MILES ON IT IN 2015.BOTH BATTERIES WERE DEFECTIVE AND HAD TO BE REPLACED .ONE BATTERY BLEW UP, AND THE OTHER CAUGHT ON FIRE.NOT SURE IF THAT CAUSED ANYMORE EXTENSIVE DAMAGE. THE CAR IS DRAGGING WHEN I START IT NOW.DEALER AT KOONS FORD IN MD.SAYS HE CANT FIND ANYTHING WRONG.TOOK THE CAR TO LIBERTY FORD AND THEY REPLACED BATTERIES AND SUGGESTED I GO BACK TO KOONS FORD BECAUSE THE CAR IS UNDER WARRANTY.I BELIEVE SOMETHING IS WRONG THE STARTER OR IGNITION.DEFAULT TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR WILL NOT GO OFF.EVEN AFTER MAINTENANCE.SOME SEVERE ELECTRICAL ISSUES ARE HAPPENING. HAVING SUSPENSION ISSUES AS WELL TRUCK SHAKES REAL BAD IF I HIT A BUMP. VERY POOR GAS MILEAGE.BUMPERS ARE OF POOR QUALITY.THESE ISSUES HAVE BEEN ONGOING SINCE THE PURCHASE OF THE CAR. THE TRUCK ONLY HAS 47,000 MILES WITH NO MISSED MAINTENANCE DATES. PROBLEMS OCCURRING BOTH ON THE HIGHWAY AND ON CITY...
THE TRUCK SEEMED TO BE RUNNING OUT OF GAS, SURGED, SPUTTER, SURGE SPUTTERED THEN QUIT RUNNING. I HAD 1/2 A TANK. HAD TO COST THE TRUCK A CROSSED SPEEDING TRAFFIC LANES AND CAME TO A STOP ON AN OVER PASS. HAD THE TRUCK TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER FINDINGS WERE A PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL PUMP AND CONTROLLER. THE DEALER STATED WHEN THEY ENTER THE CHECK ENGINE CODE (P0627) INTO THEIR WAN, THEY SHORTLY HAD A CALL FROM FORD ENGINEERING WANTING THE PARTS RETURNED TO THEM AND WITH INSTRUCTIONS NOT TO REPLACE THEM WITH THE SAME PART NUMBER. IT SEEMS THIS WAS A KNOWN ISSUE AND HAD BEEN FLAGGED IN THEIR NETWORK BY FORD ENGINEERING. IT SEEMS THIS ISSUE WAS UNKNOWN BY THE DEALERSHIP. IT BOTHERS ME GREATLY THAT THIS ISSUE IS KNOWN BY FORD ENGINEERING BUT THE DEALERS ARE SELLING NEW TRUCKS WITH THIS KNOWN DEFECT. THE NEW...
