FORD HAS A RECALL FOR 2015 AND UP 25S89 REAR-VIEW CAMERA INSPECTION, MY CAMERA HAS EXACT SAME ISSUE IN FACT THESE PARTS INVOLVED IN RECALL ARE THE SAME!!! HOW IS IT THAT FORD STARTS RECALL WITH 2015?? AND DOESNT GO BACK TO 2013??? MAKES NO SINCE WHATSOEVER!! I'VE WORKED FOR FORD FOR 35 YEARS AS A TECH AND IM A 26 YEAR SENIOR MASTER TECHNICIAN!!!! CAN'T EXPLAIN STUPID!!!

I kept smelling a burnt plastic smell. Eventually my driver side rear door did not lock. Upon inspection of the wiring the wire harness from the door to the truck showed the wires on the truck side had burned/melted the sheathing off the wires and leaving them exposed and touching.

The MyKey feature was enabled and won't turn off. I took the vehicle to the dealer and had a new key programmed. This fixed the speed regulation but the limited volume feature is still active and I can't increase volume beyond 40%. The touch screen is also not responding correctly. Depending on where I touch the screen, the area of the screen impacted is about an inch or more below where I touch. In some cases, some features can't be accessed anymore because of their location on the screen.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD F-250. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE ENGINE SHUT OFF, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED, AND SEVERAL UNKNOWN WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE IGNITION WAS TURNED OFF AND BACK ON TO RESTART THE VEHICLE, BUT THE FAILURES RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE CONTACT CALLED JIM CLICK FORD OF SAHUARITA & GREEN VALLEY AT 877-785-8628 (LOCATED AT 1030 W DUVAL RD, GREEN VALLEY, AZ), BUT THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO FAILURE WITH THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 76,000.

THE BCM MODULE ON 2014 F-250 SUPERDUTY IS ATTACHED TO THE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE PLATE UNDER THE DRIVER'S SIDE DASHBOARD. NORMAL USE OF THE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE CAUSES THE BCM CONNECTOR TO BECOME LOOSE. AFTER MULTIPLE NORMAL USES THE BCM CONNECTOR FAULTS AND SHUTS DOWN THE ABILITY TO START THE VEHICLE. MY ISSUE OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING AND I LOST ABILITY TO MONITOR SPEED, RPM, FUEL, TEMP, AND OTHER FUNCTIONS. I STOPPED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED OFF MY VEHICLE. IT WOULD NO LONGER START. I SEARCHED FOR THIS PROBLEM AND FOUND OUT IT WAS A COMMON PROBLEM AND 'ROADSIDE' STEPS TO FIX IT (SHAKING THE BCM CONNECTOR). DOING THIS TEMPORARILY FIXED THE PROBLEM. FORD STATED THERE IS NO RECALL ON THE ISSUE AND WOULD NOT FIX IT FREE OF CHARGE. THERE ARE MULTIPLE VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE FOR 2013, 2014, 2015 YEAR VEHICLES WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. EVEN...

I PURCHASED A CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED VEHICLE ON NOVEMBER 13, 2016 AND HAVE HAD TO RETURN THE TRUCK FOR SERVICE MORE THAN 4 TIMES FOR THE SAME ISSUE AND THE ISSUE IS STILL NOT FIXED. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE IS A MALFUNCTION WITH SOME 2014-2015 F-SUPER DUTY 6.7L DIESEL VEHICLES WHICH MAY EXHIBIT A MIL ILLUMINATED WITH DTC P207F. AND THAT THIS CONDITION MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM). IN EACH OCCASION I WAS DRIVING THE TRUCK AND FIRST THE ENGINE LIGHT WOULD TURN ON, SECOND, MY SPEED WOULD BE LIMITED TO LESS THAN 50MPH, AND FINALLY, THE ENGINE WOULD GO INTO IDLE MODE WITH NO IMMEDIATE RESTART. I HAVE HAD TO TOW MY TRUCK FOUR TIMES DUE TO THIS PROBLEM. THE WORK ORDER REPORTS INDICATE THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAS PERFORMED THE REPAIRS BUT THE ISSUE CONTINUES AND THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE....

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
