APPARENTLY THE NHTSA MUST NEED MORE COMPLAINTS OR A DEATH TO INVESTIGATE THIS ISSUE. SECOND PENDING FIX 9-23-2009 95,000. AFTER HAVING READ ALL THESE COMPLAINTS AND RELIVING THE SAME PROBLEMS AGAIN THROUGH THIS WEBSITE, AND I'M SURE MANY MORE UNDOCUMENTED COMPLAINTS. I AM NOW ON MY SECOND FIX. FIRST TIME 3 SPARK PLUGS THROUGH THE ENGINE. HAD EXTENDED WARRANTY SO FORD DID A BAND AID FIX ( SURPRISE ) NOW HERE WE ARE A YEAR LATER AND WE NEED SURGERY $4900 JUST TO PUT A NEW HEAD ON ONE SIDE. WHAT IS BEING DONE TO HOLD FORD ACCOUNTABLE FOR A KNOWN DEFECT. THE OPPORTUNITY FOR FIRE AND/OR DEATH IS VERY HIGH AND YET THIS PROBLEM IS NOT IMPORTANT TO ANYONE EXCEPT FOR LETTING FORD GET RICH ON THEIR KNOWN DEFECT. EVENT.. I WAS DRIVING WEST BOUND ON THE 215 FREEWAY IN LAS VEGAS, NV. EXITING DURANGO ROAD. I SAT AT THE INTERSECTION WAITING FOR THE SIGNAL LIGHT TO TURN GREEN. WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN, MOVING FORWARD, I WAS MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN GOING (10MPH) SOUTH BOUND ON DURANGO ROAD, JUST AT THAT TIME I HERD A LOUD POP NOISE. AS I WAS PULLING OVER, MY TRUCK (F150) WAS RUNNING ROUGH, I STOPPED, PUT IT IN PARK , SHUT THE ENGINE OFF, OPENED THE HOOD AND THERE SAT A COIL PACK INCLUDING THE SPARK PLUG ON TOP OF THE MOTOR. AFTER EVALUATING THE INCIDENT MORE, I NOTICE THAT THE COIL PACK AND SPARK PLUG CAME FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE ENGINE HEAD #THREE (3) CYLINDER. MY TRUCK HAS THE ORIGINAL MOTORCRAFT SPARK PLUGS IN IT SINCE 2002. NOT SURE WHY THE SPARK PLUG WOULD JUST POP-OUT. NICE JOB FORD!! FORD...
MY 2002 FORD F-150 HAS IN THE PAST TWO MONTHS EXPERIENCED THREE BLOWN/EJECTED SPARK PLUGS CAUSING THE DAMAGE AND NECESSARY REPLACEMENT OF "COILS". THIS POSED A POSSIBLE SAFETY HAZARD, AND I AM VERY UNHAPPY AT THE TIME AND COST I HAVE INCURRED SINCE THE INITIAL ONSET OF THIS PROBLEM, THAT APPARENTLY FORD HAS BEEN AWARE OF ALL OF THIS TIME. *TR

I OWN A 2002 FORD F150 WITH THE TRITON 5.4L V-8. I HAVE HAD SPARK PLUGS EJECT FROM 3 DIFFERENT CYLINDERS NOW AND FORD CLAIMS IT IS NOT A RECALL ISSUE. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN NOTED ON MANY OF THE FORD VEHICLES WITH THE TRITON 5.4 V-8. WHEN THE SPARK PLUG IS EJECTED FUEL VAPOR CAN LEAK INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND POSSIBLY CAUSE A FIRE. DRIVING ALONG A RIVER ROAD AT 35 MILES PER HOUR, AFTER A SHORT HIGHWAY DRIVE OF ABOUT 70MPH, A SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT OF THE #3 CYLINDER. WE WERE GOING CAMPING WITH OUR 2 YOUNG BOYS, SO DECIDED TO DRIVE THE TRUCK HOME. DURING THE DRIVE THE SMELL OF GASOLINE VAPOR WAS OVERPOWERING. WE HAD ONLY A 45 MILE DRIVE TO HOME. VEHICLE WAS IN THE DRIVE WAY AND CAUGHT ON FIRE BURNED COMPLETELY UP AND BLEW OUT TIRES. THERE IS A REPORT WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE DRIVER SUDDENLY HEARD A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. SHE INITIALLY THOUGHT THAT THE MUFFLER FAILED. THE VEHICLE DID NOT STALL OR OVERHEAT. SHE DROVE THE VEHICLE TO A MECHANIC, WHO STATED THAT A SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT DUE TO THE ALUMINUM HEAD ON THE ENGINE. THE MECHANIC PERFORMED A HEALIE CORE AND REPLACED THE PLUG. THE VEHICLE DROVE NORMALLY FOR OVER A YEAR BEFORE THE FAILURE RECURRED. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A POPPING NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. SHE DROVE APPROXIMATELY ONE MILE AND THEN HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE FORD DEALER. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD A DEFECTIVE CYLINDER, WHICH CAUSED IT TO BLOW OUT THE SPARK PLUGS. THE MECHANIC FURTHER STATED THAT IT WAS A VERY COMMON ISSUE AND NO RECALL WAS AVAILABLE. LEADING UP TO THE SPARK PLUG BEING BLOWN OUT OF MY FORD F-150 WITH A 5.4 L MOTOR, I HEARD A DISTINCT TICKING SOUND THAT RESEMBLED AN EXHAUST MANIFOLD LEAK. DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AROUND 75 MILES PER HOUR, TWO HOURS INTO MY DRIVE THE TICK BECAME LOUDER AND FINALLY A POP CAME FROM UNDER THE HOOD. I THEN PULLED OVER AND LEFT THE TRUCK IDLING. LOOKING UNDER THE HOOD I SEE THE COIL OVER PACK VIBRATING A LOT AND THEN I SHUT THE TRUCK OFF AND UNPLUGGED THE COIL OVER PACK AND OUT CAME THE COIL OVER PACK AND ATTACHED A SPARK PLUG. MY 2002 FORD F-150 BLEW A SPARK PLUG RIGHT OUT OF THE CYLINDER WHILE DRIVING ON RT 85 IN CONNECTICUT. THE DANGER FROM THIS WAS GREAT AS THERE WAS GAS SPLASHED THROUGHOUT THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. WENT T THE FORD DEALER AND THEY PLAYED DOWN THE SITUATION AND SAID IT WOULD COST $600.00 TO FIX. I ALSO INCURRED A $200.00 TOWING BILL, AND HAD TO REPLACED A SPARK PLUG COIL WHICH WAS DAMAGED BY THE SPARK PLUG TO THE TUNE OF $100.00. THE INTERNET HAS PROVIDED INFORMATION THAT THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM WITH FORD V-8 ENGINES, AND I'M WONDERING WHY THE NHTSA LETS THIS CONTINUE...MANY PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING FINANCIAL LOSS, AND SAFETY ISSUES WITH FIRES THAT RESULT FROM THIS SITUATION. *TR
I OWN A 2002 FORD F-150 XLT 4X4 WITH A TRITION 5.4L V-8. I WENT OUT TO START IT THIS MORNING AND I HEARD A LOUD NOISE THAT SOUNDED LIKE A SHOT WENT OFF. THEN MY TRUCK STARTED SHAKING AND MAKING A CHUGGING NOISE. I SHUT IT OFF AND OPENED THE HOOD AND FOUND THAT ONE OF MY SPARK PLUGS JUST BLEW OUT OF THE ENGINE. THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE TRITION ENGINES. I WENT ONLINE AND DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND MANY COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME SUBJECT. I THINK FORD NEEDS TO ISSUE A RECALL TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. *TR
ON MY BIRTH DAY I EXPERIENCED SOMETHING LIKE NEVER BEFORE I BLEW THE #4 SPARK PLUG ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BROUGHT IT BACK TO WORK WHAT A ROUGH RIDE. THEN STARTED TO LOOK IN THE HOLE WITH A BORE SCOPE TO FIND OUT THE TREADS WERE GONE YEAH. CALLED AROUND TO FIND OUT HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST ME AND THE CHEAPEST WAS A MACHINE SHOP CALLED LENTECH AUTOMOTIVE AT A PRICE OF 300.00 NOT BAD BUT I MADE SOME MORE CALLS AND FOUND A KIT TO DO IT AT BENSONS AUTOPARTS 65.00 HOPE THIS WILL FIX IT. *TR
I EXPERIENCED A SPARK PLUG BLOW OUT ON MY WAY TO WORK. I WAS STRANDED ON A NARROW ROAD AND HAD TO CALL FOR HELP. MY DAD CALLED A TOW TRU CK AND WE HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER IN KAILUA KONA, HAWAII. WE SAW THAT A SPARK PLUG HAD BLOWN OUT. THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER SAID HIS TRUCK DID THE SAME THING. AT THE DEALER THEY SAID THEY DID NOT KNOW WHY IT DID THAT. AFTER GETTING IT REPAIRED FOR $600.00, MY TRUCK WOULD NOT RUN. THEY SAID, YOU NEED A NEW ENGINE AT THE TUNE OF $5,000.00. IT RAN FINE PRIOR TO THAT SPARK PLUG BLOW OUT. WITH FURTHER INVESTIGATION, AN EXPERT MECHANIC SUSPECTS THEY MISHANDELED THE INSTALLATION. THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE. THIS STARTED OUT A FORD PART DEFECT, BUT IS ENDING UP A DESTROYED ENGINE. I WILL DEMAND THEY FIX IT, OR...
I WAS DRIVING TO PICK UP LUNCH ONE DAY FROM WORK AND WHEN I PULLED OUT INTO TRAFFIC TO HEAD BACK I HEARD A LOUD POP FOLLOWED BY A LOSS OF POWER AND A SOUND THAT MADE ME THINK THE SERPENTINE BELT BROKE. THE PLUG SHOT OUT OF THE HEAD AND BROKE A COIL PACK IN HALF. I TALKED TO THE FORD DEALER THAT I GET MY PARTS AT, AND HE TOLD ME IT HAPPENS ALOT ON 4.6 LITERS, 5.4 LITERS, AND V-10 FORD TRUCKS SO MUCH THAT THEY STAY WELL STOCKED ON THE PARTS THAT I NEEDED TO FIX WHAT FORD DOESN'T CONSIDER TO BE A PROBLEM, THE FIX IS A WELL GREASED, EXTRA LONG 14 MM TAP AND HELICOIL, RED LOCKTITE, SPARK PLUG, COIL PACK, AND ANY OTHER BITS AND PIECES THE PLUG DESTOYS ON ITS WAY OUT, FROM THE REPORTS I'M READING I GOT LUCKY THTAT IT...
TWICE WITHIN ONE YEAR, ON TWO DIFFERENT OCCASION, MY 2002 F150 FORD TRUCK HAS EJECTED A SPARK PLUG. THERE WAS NO INDICATION THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE LEADING UP TO THE EVENT OCCURRING. BOTH TIMES I HAD MY TRUCK TOWED TO MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP AND REPAIRED. THE REPAIR BOTH TIMES CONSISTED OF THE INSTILLATION OF A HELI COIL AND THE BILL WAS AROUND $700.00. *TR

WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, I HEARD A LOUD EXPLOSION AND THE ENGINE BEGAN RUNNING ROUGH. I PULLED OVER AND OPENED THE HOOD. THE EXPLOSION HAD DENTED THE INSIDE OF THE HOOD. I FOUND A BROKEN COIL LAYING ON TOP OF THE ENGINE, AND THE CORRESPONDING SPARK PLUG LAYING BENEATH THE ENGINE. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A MECHANIC, WHO RE-THREADED THE SPARK PLUG HOLE AND INSTALLED A NEW SPARK PLUG. THE VEHICLE PERFORMED AS USUAL FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS, AND THEN THE SAME EXACT SITUATION OCCURRED, INVOLVING THE SAME EXACT SPARK PLUG. THE SECOND OCCURRENCE, THE PLUG AND COIL WERE SO DAMAGED THAT THE HEAD COULD NOT BE RE-THREADED AND REPAIRED. AFTER RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE, I FOUND THAT DOZENS OF OTHER OWNERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM, WHICH IS DUE TO AN ENGINE AND/OR PISTON DEFECT. THE SECOND OCCURRENCE REQUIRED DRILLING OUT THE AFFECTED HEAD, TAPPING IT, AND INSTALLING...
I HAVE A '02 FORD F150 WITH 51,581 MILES ON IT. YESTERDAY, CYLINDER #3 DECIDED TO BLOW THE SPARK PLUG RIGHT OUT OF THE CYLINDER HEAD. FORTUNATELY, I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY. AFTER READING MANY OTHER FRUSTRATED CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE, I FOUND OUT THAT I WAS QUITE LUCKY THAT THE ENGINE DIDN'T IMMEDIATELY ERUPT IN FLAMES. FORD REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THERE IS ANY ISSUE WITH THIS DESIGN EVEN THOUGH IT'S WELL DOCUMENTED. FORD EXPECTS IT'S CUSTOMER TO REPLACE THE HEAD TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AT THE CUSTOMER'S EXPENSE. MINE $3,322.96. NOW THE BETTER PART. BECAUSE IT APPEARS THE DESIGN HAS NOT CHANGED, EVEN BY REPLACING THE HEAD THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. *TR
MY 2002 FORD F150 5.4 SPARK PLUG BLOW OUT OF THE MOTOR WITH ONLY 42000. MILES ON IT. $ 890.00 TO REPAIR. *TR
I WAS DRIVING AND FELT AND HEARD A POP IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. I PULLED OFF THE ROAD THINKING IT WAS A TIRE BLOW OUT. ONCE I GOT OUT AND CHECKED THE TIRES I STARTED THE ENGINE AGAIN. IT SOUNDED LIKE THERE WAS NO EXHAUST MANIFOLD. I HAD TO GET IT TOWED TO A SERVICE STATION. I LATER FOUND OUT THAT IT BLEW OUT A SPARK PLUG OUT OF THE HEAD AND SPLIT THE COIL AND POSSIBLY DAMAGED ANOTHER COIL. IT HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED YET. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE SITUATION. I HAVE DONE RESEARCH AND FOUND THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. OWNERS OF THESE VEHICLES SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY OUT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR A FORD DESIGN ERROR. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F150 HARLEY DAVIDSON. ON JANUARY 3, 2008, A SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT. ON MAY 31, 2008, WHILE AT A CAR WASH, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE SAME SPARK PLUG FROM THE SOLENOID HAD BLOWN AGAIN, WHICH ALSO BLEW THE ENGINE HEAD. THE REPAIR IS EXPECTED TO COST BETWEEN $2,200, AND $5,000. ALSO, IN DECEMBER OF 2007, THE SUNROOF MOTOR SHORTED AND NO LONGER WORKS. SHE WAS INFORMED THAT THE REPAIR WOULD COST $1,000, AND HAS NOT USED THE SUNROOF SINCE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 143,000.

THE FAILURE OCCURS WHENEVER THE VEHICLE IS STARTED AND BEFORE MOVING. THE FAILURE ALWAYS OCCURS WITH THE NUMBER THREE CYLINDER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000. I CURRENTLY OWN A 2002 FORD F-150. AT ABOUT 70,000 MILES A SPARK BLEW OUT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. THIS WAS THE ORIGINAL PLUG. HAD TO HAVE HELICOIL INSTALLED. PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT, MY 2001 EXPEDITION HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS WAS ALSO THE ORIGINAL PLUGS, BUT THIS MOTOR ONLY HAD 60,000 MILES. UNFORTUNATELY, THE FORD DEALER I HAD IT TOWED TO WOULD NOT PERFORM HELICOIL, SO I HAD TO REPLACE THE HEAD. THEY SAID FORD DID NOT RECOMMEND HELICOIL. SO I HAVE OWNED 2 FORDS WITHIN 1 YEAR OF EACH OTHER AND BOTH HAVE HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM WITH PLUGS. IT'S APPARENT THAT FORD HAS A DESIGN FLAW. I HEARD FROM A FORD DEALER THAT THE NEWER BODY STYLE OF F-150 HAS HAD A CORRECTION IN THE THREAD DESIGN IN THE HEADS. *TR
#3 S PARKPLUG BLEW OUT OF HEAD AND ALSO BROKE COIL ON PLUG. FORD SERVICE SHOP INSTALLED HELICOIL TO FIX PROBLEM AND REPLACED COIL ON PLUG. ALSO HAD FORD SERVICE LOOK AT NOISY AC BLOWER MOTOR FAN AND IT WAS ALSO BAD. VEHICLE IS A 2002 FORD F150 SUPERCREW 5.4L WITH ONLY 28,500 ON IT. DID NOT KEEP PARTS. VEHICLE OUT OF WARRANTY BUT I CALLED CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND THEY ONLY COVERED ABOUT 1/3 OF COST TO REPAIR SPARK PLUG PROBLEM AND NONE OF THE AC BLOWER. *TR

THEY SAID THEY KNOW OF THIS ISSUE WITH THE SPARK PLUGS, BUT AT THIS TIME IT IS THE CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS. I FEEL IT SHOULD BE A RECALL. THERE HAS BEEN THOUSAND OF COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS SAME ISSUE AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. *JB
ON THURS. 12-07, I WAS DRIVING 40 MPH WHEN I HEARD A LOUD POP, THE TRUCK WAS RUNNING ROUGH AND LOUD. I PULLED OVER, IT BLEW A SPARK PLUG(#4). TOWED IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, WAS TOLD THE HEAD WOULD BE REPLACED, THEN WHEN I RETURNED FOR THE TRUCK WAS TOLD THEY WOULD ONLY REPAIR THE HOLE WITH A HELICOIL, WHICH I FOUND A SERVICE BULLETIN #0214 THAT STATES ENGINE ASSEMBLIES WITH ALUMINUM CYLINDER HEADS REPAIRED IN VEHICLE HAVE BEEN FOUND TO LEAK COOLANT AND/ OR OIL FROM THE CYLINDER HEAD GASKET AREA. THE DEALERSHIP SEEMS TO THINK THIS IS TRIVIAL, AND REFUSES TO REPLACE THE HEAD UNDER WARRANTY. TRUCK IS AN '02 F-150 LIGHTNING. 5.4 MOTOR. *NM
MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING TO WORK AND HEARD A LOUD POP. HIS TRUCK WAS TOWED TO A FORD DEALER AND WE WERE TOLD IT WAS THE #3 SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT. WARRANTY COMPANY REFUSES TO FIX IT. I HAVE HAD TO LOSE 2 WEEKS OF WORK SO FAR SO THAT MY HUSBAND CAN GO TO WORK. IT IS COSTING US $2400.00 TO FIX HIS TRUCK. WE HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE VEHICLES. *JB
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD ABOUT 45 MPH, WHEN I HEARD A LOUD NOISE SO I PULLED OVER , FOUND THE PASS SIDE REAR PLUG WAS SHOT OUT OF THE MOTOR AND LAYING ON THE TOP OF THE ENGINE. THE COIL PACK IS CRACKED AND THE MOUNTING BRACKET SNAPPED OFF. I HAVE DONE NOTHING TO FIX THIS YET!YES I HAVE OLD PARTS. *JB
THE 2002 F150 LARIET WAS RUNNING GREAT, HAD NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS LEADING UP TO THIS INCIDENT. THE NUMBER 7 SPARK PLUG EJECTED FROM THE HEAD, CAUSED LOSS OF POWER OF THE ENGINE, TAKEN TO A FORD DEALER AND THEY ARE TELLING US THEY CAN REPLACE THE HEAD FOR $3300.00 OUR COST. I FEEL THIS IS A DEFECT IN THE HEAD AND FORD SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE TO REPLACE. *JB
2002 F 150 V 4.2L V6 ENGINE. 83000 MILES HAS DEFECTIVE INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET THAT CAN CAUSE LEAK OF COOLANT INTO CYLINDERS CAUSING ENGINE TO BLOW UP POSSIBLY CAUSING CAR TO BECOME UNCONTROLLABLE CAUSING A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. FORD HAS NO PLANS DESPITE RECEIVING NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS. *JB
I WAS DRIVING MY 2002 FORD F-150 WHEN THE SPARK PLUG (3RD ONE ON PASSENGER SIDE BLEW OUT OF THE HEAD ON THE ENGINE. THE ENGINE IS A 4.6 LITER TRITON ENGINE. IT MADE A LARGE BANG THEN A THUMPING NOISE AND LOSS OF POWER TO ENGINE SO I HURRIED AND PULLED OVER AND SHUT THE ENGINE OFF. TRIED TO PUT SPARK PLUG BACK IN. IT STAYED IN FOR A FEW DAYS AND BLEW OUT AGAIN. IT WILL NOT STAY IN. THE COST OF REPAIRS COULD REACH $2000.00 EASILY. IF SOMEONE WAS NEAR THE ENGINE WHEN IT WENT OFF IT MIGHT OF KILLED THEM. VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. I LOOKED UP ON THE INTERNET TO FIND A WAY TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND FOUND OUT HUNDREDS IF NOT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THESE ENGINES. *JB
SPARK PLUG BLOW OUT ON MY 2002 F150, 5.4L,V8, FORD PICKUP. MILEAGE AT TIME OF THE INCIDENT,46337. WHILE TURNING RIGHT AFTER STOPPING AT A STOP SIGN, I HEARD A LOUD POP. THE ENGINE LOST POWER AND CONTINUED TO POP VERY LOUD. I PULLED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND CALLED A TOW TRUCK. I KNEW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS, BECAUSE MY BROTHERS 2001, F150, 5.4L, V8, FORD PICKUP, MILEAGE APROX.103000 HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. FORD KNOWS ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND HAS A NEW HEAD WITH 8 THREADS INSTEAD OF 4, BUT CLAIM NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FAILURE. MY TRUCK IS A THE DEALERSHIP THAT I PURCHASED IT FROM. I HAVE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY THAT IS COVERING THE REPLACEMENT OF "ONE" HEAD. I AM PAYING FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE OTHER HEAD. I THINK IT IS TOTALLY WRONG TO REPLACE ONLY ONE HEAD WHEN THEY BOTH HAVE THE SAME DEFECT!!*JB
VEHICLE EXPERIENCED SUDDEN STALLING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER FOR CHECKUP, BUT THE CAUSE WAS UNDETERMINED.*AK
ELECTRICAL: AT 306 MILES THE SOLENOIDS HAD TO BE REPLACED. UPON SHUTTING THE VEHICLE OFF; THE DASH BOARD WOULD STILL ILLUMINATE. ALSO, UPON SHUTTING THE VEHICLE OFF IT WOULD CONTINUE TO RUN. THIS HAS HAPPENED A TOTAL OF FOUR TIMES. THE TRANSMISSION COMPLETELY FAILED WITH NO WARNING. THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, AND WAS TOLD THE WINDSHIELD HAD A LEAK WHICH CORRODED THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS STARTED AT 44000 MILES. THE GASKET HAD TO BE REPLACED, AND THE HARNESS WIRING HAD TO BE REPLACED ALSO. UPON TRYING TO START THE VEHICLE AGAIN THE BATTERY WOULD BE COMPLETELY DEAD. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. *JB
