Defect: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: BUSES BUILT ON A CHEVROLET GMT 600 CUTAWAY CHASSIS WITH A GRANNING TAG AXLE ADDED. WHEN THE WHEELS WERE INSTALLED ON THE TAG AXLE, THE RETAINING RING THAT GOES BETWEEN THE WHEEL AND THE LUG NUTS WAS INADVERTENTLY LEFT OFF.
Consequence: THESE RINGS PROVIDE THE DISHED SURFACE FOR THE FLARED NUTS TO CONTACT.
Remedy: OWNERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH TWO RETAINER RINGS WITH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
