THERE IS AN ON GOING AND VERY WIDELY KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE DUCATI SUPERSPORT 939 S & NON-S MODELS - VIBRATING MIRRORS. WHEN THROTTLING TO SPEEDS OF 30+MPH ON THE STREET AND FREEWAYS THE VIBRATING ISSUE STARTS TO HAPPEN. I HAVE ALREADY EXPRESSED CONCERN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND A REPLACEMENT FIX FOR IT WAS ISSUED BUT STILL NOT RESOLVED. THE FACT THAT THAT MIRRORS ARE NOT STABLE UNDER NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS MEANS THEY DO NOT COMPLY WITH USA, EU OR U.K. VEHICLE REGULATIONS. THE LOSS OF REARWARD VISION IS CLASSED AS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. THERE IS A WHOLE DISCUSSION REGARDING THIS ISSUE ON THE DUCATI SUPERSPORT 939 FORUMS. CAN'T SEE OBJECTS IN THE MIRRORS WHEN RIDING. SHAKY AND BLURRY OBJECTS
THE REAR VIEW MIRRORS WERE REPLACED FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NO. 18V-793 RECALL. THE RECALL DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THE MIRROR PROBLEMS STILL PERSIST AND THERE WAS NO CHANGE IN THE PROBLEM. THEY PERFORM THE SAME AS BEFORE THE RECALL REPLACEMENT.
