BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE AND THAT OF OTHER OWNERS AS REPORTED ONLINE, I BELIEVE THE ISSUE IS MORE WIDESPREAD THAN THE NHTSA APPARENTLY BELIEVES, AND I SUGGEST THAT THE EXISTING RECALL BE EXPANDED CONSIDERABLY.
