The contact stated that the vehicle was previously taken to an unknown dealer to be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V731000 (Suspension) however, the dealer informed the contact that no issues were found, and the repair was not needed. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The RV was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 8,964.
#11427793 | SUSPENSION | | N/A miles
Driver side rear sway mount bracket fell off. This is well documented on the internet and has been occurring for many years on the Ford F53 chassis. Sway bar keeps sway and body roll to a minimum while driving. Without the mount, it's ability to prevent sway is diminished. If the bracket fell off during travel, the large solid piece of metal and bolts would have fallen into road and potentially cause an accident or damage to another vehicle.
