Bulletin Summary
On the vehicles affected by this bulletin, it is possible to observe signs of corrosion at the base of the master relay installed in the vehicle battery box. At the next service occasion, install a new relay along with shims between the relay mounting flange and the battery box bottom in a way that space is created between the relay base and the battery box bottom, preventing corrosion of the relay.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
