Some 2021 F-Super Duty and 2021-2022 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine and built on or after 15-Apr-2021, with less than 300 miles (483 km), may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P20E8 and/or P208B stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due the reductant pump and heater assembly losing prime during extended vehicle storage. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to prime the reductant pump and heater assembly.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
