Product Improvement: Introduction of new generation DEF tank sensor unit Some previous manufactured DEF tank sensor units are no longer available as spare part. This service bulletin gives you information about the visual points of difference between the generations and which one to order in case of replacement. Most of the replacements are direct fit, except for the sensor units with an asterisk in the table which must be secured with a split mounting ring consisting of two halves instead of the original closed mounting ring.
