Bulletin Summary
Field Change Program: To change routing of extinguishing agent hose and check routing of linear detection wire On the above-mentioned vehicles, one of the extinguishing agent hoses of the automatic fire suppression system is routed in a way that it can be damaged during the installation of the front floor trap above the engine. Therefore this extinguishing agent hose must be re-routed as described in this Service Bulletin. Also the routing of the linear detection line has to be checked and, if necessary, re-routed to avoid possible damage during the installation of the floor trap.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
