Bulletin Summary
This Service Bulletin informs affected customers that MCI was notified by Gabriel Ride Control that in early 2013 they replaced the red 185 durometer polyurethane bushings with a red 288 polyurethane bushing in the shock absorbers at their production plant and these shock absorbers operating in cold temperatures may result in failure of the shock absorber stud breaking at the busing and if the shock absorber fails, the coach cannot be operated due to the risk of suspension component damage on model year 2013-2014 MCI D model coaches, and that MCI will remedy the affected coaches at no cost to the customers.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
