Bulletin Summary
BMW Motorrad has established that the additional multifunction switches for special vehicles may allow moisture in and can lead to a failure of the LIN bus. In the case of a failure the additional functions will no longer work. For this reason the additional multifunction switches must be replaced on all affected vehicles. K52 Special vehicles produced after 9/29/2017 have improved additional multifunction switches installed.
