Bulletin Summary
TT: Some vehicles may experience an intermittenly "tick" or "rattle" noise when over uneven terrain. The noise is typically present when the front passenger seat is empty and will go away when the front passenger seat is removed from the vehicle. Closer investigation may find the noise emanating from the Passenger Side floor sheet metal near one of the spot welds in the floor underneath the front passenger seat.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
