Technical Service Bulletin BMWNOV0313 — 2009 MINI COOPER CONVERTIBLE

This is an update to the Delivery Stop that was issued on certain 2014 model year MINI Cooper, Cooper S and John Cooper Works Convertibles produced between July and October 2013. During closing, it is possible that the convertible top locating pin is not correctly positioned in the landing plate at the top of the A-pillar (passenger?s side). The repair procedure is now available in Service Information bulletin M54 05 13. Affected vehicles in dealer inventory must not be delivered until the Service Action has been completed. A chassis number list of affected vehicles can be found as an attachment to this message. This list must be used to identify affected vehicles until they are available via the Key Reader, ISPA or DCS Inquiry.
