Key Fobic Prior to replacing the Receiver-Wireless Ignition Node (WIN) for any confirmed failure mode on vehicles built prior to November 21, 2013, perform TSB 18-009-14 (or later bulletin), which updates the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software preventing Secret Key Code ID corruption (Note: If the PCM software is not at the latest level as defined by the TSB, the existing Key Fobs will not work with the replaced WIN due to the Secret Key ID code being Corrupted!).~ Important Action: Print this GPOP and provide to installing Technician to ensure this verification and possible PCM Flash update is performed prior to WIN replacement!
