Bulletin Summary
O2 Sensor If your dealership is located within 1-2 hours of Metro Detroit, please contact Nadeem Akhtar at cell (734) 417-7332 before replacing this part, as engineering would like to evaluate vehicles with this issue.~ If no response is received within 15 minutes, then continue with repair.~ In all other cases, before replacing this part due to a P0141 fault code, please perform the normal diagnostic routine for this Diagnostic Trouble Code.~ If there is no trouble found, and the fault is stored, DO NOT replace the O2 Sensor, instead, perform the following procedure:~ 1. Clear the P0141 fault.~ 2. Soak the car for over 6 hours.~ 3. Turn the key to the ?on? position for 3 seconds (Do NOT crank the engine).~ 4. Turn the key directly to ?crank?.~ 5. Test drive the vehicle for two separate 6-minute drive cycles with a ?key-off? in between drive cycles.
