Bulletin Summary
Transmission Intermittently Goes into Park During an MSA Engine Start. The transmission can intermittently go into the Park position (P) when an MSA engine start is occurring. A drive gear can be selected in order to drive away, and no relevant faults are stored. This problem is very sporadic, can be difficult to reproduce, and usually only began after the vehicle was programmed with ISTA/P versions 2.47.1 through 2.48.1. Vehicle integration levels affected: F010-12-07-531 F010-12-07-533 F010-12-11-501 F010-12-11-502 All F10 N20 vehicles produced July 2012 and later are not affected, regardless of the integration level.
