Bulletin Summary
Certain 2023-2024MY GV80 (JX1) vehicles equipped with the 3.5T-GDI engine may experience a warning lamp illumination for a diagnostic trouble code P250F that is related to the oil level sensor circuit. Due to the current logic in the vehicles, DTC P250F could set unintentionally when the engine oil level is within the proper range. Follow the service procedure outlined in this bulletin to check the engine oil level and reprogram the powertrain control module to update the oil level sensor warning light logic to ensure the light only illuminates when required.
