The following service alert is to advise about SB-16-022 (Burner Atomizer Repair Procedure) which was released on 8/16/16 and discussed on the Tech Cast webinar.If the atomizer is ONLY leaking fuel, you need to follow SB-16-022 repair procedure. DO NOT REPLACE THE ATOMIZER FOR THIS CONDITION. If the truck is under the 2 Year Basic Warranty or 5 year/100,000 miles emission warranty, the repair will be covered under warranty.
