Bulletin Summary
Fan Support Assembly, Fan Support Bearing, Fan Pulley If a vehicle comes in with a complaint of front engine noise or is towed in for a seized pulley condition, and it is diagnosed as a fan support bearing failure please contact Christine Donegan with STAR Support Center at 1 (866) 799-1692 ext. 1257 for further instructions. The fan support assembly with bearing still assembled and fan pulley should be returned via Fast Track process. Cummins is actively investigating this issue and would like to receive suspect components from the field for further investigation and testing and would potentially like to visit the failure on site if possible. If no response in 15 minutes, please continue with repair.
