Consumer Description
CAR WOULD HESITATE AT A STOP SIGN. IT DID NOT SHIFT INTO GEARS PROPERLY. AFTER STARTING THE CAR AND PUTTING IT INTO GEAR IT WOULD NOT MOVE. WE DIDN'T REPORT THIS PROBLEM TO THE DEALER WHEN IT WAS FIRST NOTICED. IN JUNE WE CALLED THE DEALER WHO WANTED $60 JUST TO LOOK AT IT. WE TOOK IT TO COTTMAN WHO TOLD US IT NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION. WE NOTIFIED CHRYSLER THEY COVERED ALL BUT $200 ON THE REBUILT TRANSMISSION.THEIR COMPUTER INDICATED THAT THERE WAS NO PROBLEM FOUND.SHORTHLY AFTER THE TRANSMITION WAS REPLACED THE CAR WILL NOT START AT THE FIRST TRY, WE HAVE TO CHANGE MANUALLY THE GEARS AND TRY AGAIN TO START THE CAR, ONCE THE CAR START RUNNING IS OK UNTIL THE ENGINE IS TURNED OFF, THE NEXT TIME WE HAVE TO REPEAT THE SAME PROCEDURES, IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY THE CAR WILL NO START INMEDIATELY.WE HAVE TO LET THE CAR SIT FOR A FEW MINUTES TO REPEAT THE SAME OPERATION.
