Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the engine was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil consume oil. The check engine warning light was illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, and the contact was provided an estimate for a diagnostic test. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 63,000.
