Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle was difficult to start. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the cam phasers needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 63,000.
