NHTSA Complaint #11647662 — 2018 JEEP WRANGLER

The screen to my jeep is delaminating and is almost unusable. I can't even turn the screen off now and the car will try to make SOS calls and call people from my phone. It will turn on directions automatically. I almost ran over a pedestrian because I was distracted with the screen trying to hang up from a phone call that the car automatically dialed. My [XXX] son just started driving this vehicle and I worry for his safety and the safety around him. If I almost caused a fatal car accident because of this issue with many years of experience, what will happen with a newly driver that can't handle any distractions?
