Consumer Description
This bike was bought as new and has been a problem since it was new. This bike comes with a Hill Hold Assist, Meaning when on a hill the operator engages the hill hold feature by depressing the front or rear brake further after a stop while the clutch lever is depressed to disengage. The rear caliper locks the brake pads locking the rear rotor from moving. To disengage, the operator applies the throttle and releases the clutch. There are times when the brakes do not disengage, which can cause the bike to become unbalanced and an operator to drop the bike in traffic. At times the lock can be released by repeating the engage steps. I have reported this to the dealer several times but they state no problem can be found. I believe this is connected to the ABS system. Brakes have been bled for trapped air but non found.
