Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the vehicle while cold starting the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed with a defective cam phaser. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
