The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while stopped at an intersection to make a left turn, the contact's vehicle was crashed into the rear end of the vehicle by another vehicle. The contact stated that her vehicle was pushed further into the intersection and had stalled. The contact stated she was able to restart the vehicle and move it off of the road. The contact stated that the rear end of her vehicle, the trunk, and bumper was crumpled, however the rear tires were not damaged. The contact stated that the police were on the scene and filed a report. The contact was driven to an emergency room by her partner. The contact was diagnosed with whiplash but no other injuries. The contact stated that the air bags had not deployed. The vehicle was driven by the contact's granddaughter to a repair shop. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
