NHTSA Complaint #11533906 — 2019 BMW X5

Dear Sir This is regarding my 2019 BMW X5 VIN [XXX] , purchased on 5/28/2019 from BMW Orland Park IL. I encountered ‘Reduced engine power’ message on 5/8/2023. This vehicle was driven about 40000 miles at that time. BMW Orland park diagnosed the root cause and fixed it on 5/10/2023. They replaced faulty lower radiator blind. I am surprised and worried that top luxury brand SUV had this problem so early and right around warranty expired. I asked service advisor of any recall, but unfortunately he didn’t find anything. I spent $802.37 + tax, for this repair very early in the BMW vehicle’s life. I would appreciate if you can research/investigate this problem with 2019 BMW X5, whether it’s eligible for recall or free repair.
