Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2018 Ford Edge. The contact stated while starting the vehicle the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the transmission cable bushing, and the spark plugs were replaced, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the contact was informed that cylinder #3 was misfiring and that coolant had leaked into the engine and that the long blocked needed to replace, but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 120,000.
