NHTSA Complaint #11525097 — 2011 HONDA CR-V

The contact owned a 2011 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while driving at approximately 50 MPH the steering wheel jerked to the right and the vehicle to moved to the right of the road. The contact stated that when he attempted to correct the steering there was no response to his correction. The contact stated the "traction" warning light had been illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle had driven off the road, he no longer had control, and the vehicle rolled onto the passenger side. The police arrived on the scene and wrote a report. The contact stated that all the air bags had deployed. The contact stated he was not injured. The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to an impound lot. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The contact stated he had recently received a recall letter from the manufacturer for NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V228000 (Structure). The contact did not have it confirmed but he related the crash to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V228000 (Structure). The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
