NHTSA Complaint #11509051 — 2017 FORD EDGE

We were driving down the road and the check engine light came on so we took it in and they said the #2 cylinder was miss firing. So they changed the plug and coil on #2. The check engine light went away until the next day when we drove it. So we took it back and they checked it again and it was the same issue. But after further checking they found that the #2 cylinder has coolant leaking into it causing the misfiring and engine using coolant. So after all of that they said I needed a new engine. It will cost me $7600 to replace it if I wanted to keep using my car. I did not have any other choice other than to have it fixed. I don’t have the money to buy a new car so that’s all we could do. We just got the car back and after 2 days it seems to be fixed. It’s totally nuts that Ford will not pay anything towards fixing it. Also the guy at the dealership told me when I picked it up to drive for 3 years and then get rid of it because I have unlimited mileage warranty for that time. I have 76000 miles on the car when this happened and never in my years seen this on any car I have owned its totally rediculous that Ford will not HELP!!!!!!!
