Consumer Description

Component: MMI inconsistently plays parking collision chimes. Safety: Inconsistent chime playback may result in collision with objects during parking. Reproduction: Not reproduced by dealer. Sporadic 1 to 3 times weekly. Inspected by dealer: No. Difficult to reproduce on demand. Warning indicators: None. Description: The Audio MMI (MIB3) fails to duck audio sources consistently and as a result may play entertainment audio on top of the parking collision chimes. The parking collision chimes are not playing. Shifting out of drive into reverse or park and back to drive will cause the chimes to play without moving the vehicle further.
