Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2016 Kia Sportage. The contact stated while driving approximately 25 MPH, there was a knocking and squeaking sound coming from the front and the rear of the vehicle. The check engine warning light was illuminated. Additionally, there was oil leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was diagnosed with asphalt in the exhaust system. The dealer replaced the brake lining. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 55,000.
